It’s Showtime for Global Agency and FremantleMedia

Global Agency today announced that it has agreed a deal with FremantleMedia for its ground-breaking reality singing format It’s Showtime. This is the first major deal between the two companies which sees FremantleMedia take the rights to the format in 20 countries including UK, US, Australia, Thailand, Spain, Norway and Denmark.

Created by Izzet Pinto, It’s Showtime is a reality singing format that searches for the ultimate lead singer across four different categories: Voice, Stage Performance, Songs Selection and Styling. It is planned as an access prime, daily stripped entertainment show.

Izzet Pinto, CEO of Global Agency commented: “We’re very happy to be working with FremantleMedia on It’s Showtime and so glad that it has a chance to be developed for many different countries. The format is visually iconic and we are confident that it will be a huge hit with broadcasters and viewers in every territory. We aim to see the varied versions of our format in at least 40 countries in the next two years and expect that it will become a global sensation.”

We are thrilled to be working with Izzet and the team at Global Agency, and that our Hungarian production company, UFA Magyarország, and it’s recently set up Show and Factual division will be the first to launch the show worldwide for RTL Hungary’s, RTLII.”
