SPI International / Filmbox announces that its FilmBox Live app debuted on the new Apple TV in Central Eastern Europe and Turkey offering access to multiple live-streaming TV channels and a huge on demand library containing movies, TV series, documentaries, sports programming as well as fashion and music videos.

FilmBox Live app developed for Apple TV is the first such a service on Apple TV in the CEE and Turkey. It gives subscribers non-stop access to 1000+ movies and other diverse on demand content. In addition, the app will feature all of the linear channel portfolio from SPI International/FilmBox including two sports channels (FightBox HD and Fast’nFunBox HD), a documentary channel (DocuBox HD), a unique movie channel devoted to classic and independent cinema (FilmBox Arthouse), a fashion channel (FashionBox HD), an independent music channel (360TuneBox HD), an interactive gaming channel (MadscreenBox) and several ethnic channels (FilmBox Russia, FilmBox Africa, Kino Polska Int’l, Kino Polska Muzyka).

The launch of the FilmBox Live app on the new Apple TV is in line with SPI’s strategy to make its content available via apps to OTT TV providers in the market in addition to the traditional linear channel distribution.
