Electus International, MTG strike deal for 70+ programming hours #MIPTV

IAC-owned distributor Electus International has secured a deal with Scandinavian television operator Modern Times Group (MTG) to bring more than 70 hours of unscripted content to the Baltics region., the distributor informs.

Titles heading to Latvia include season three of social experiment Dating Naked (10 x 60 minutes), in which contestants engage in dating while fully exposed; World’s Funniest Videos: Top 10 Countdown (30 x 30 minutes), a compilation of comical moments captured by home viewers; game show Bet On Your Baby (seasons one and two, 8 x 60 minutes), in which parents compete to predict their child’s next move; and Online Dating Rituals of the American Male (6 x 60 minutes), offering insight into the male psyche through two individuals looking for their ideal partner.

Estonia will also receive World’s Funniest Videos: Top 10 Countdown, alongside viral video sketch comedy series Almost Genius (32 x 30 minutes), which pairs comedians with viral videos.

Heading to Lithuania, meanwhile, is the Bear Grylls adventure competition series Get Out Alive (8 x 60 minutes), in which 10 teams of two are tested beyond their limits in the wild.

The deal was brokered by Max Richards, manager of sales and acquisitions for CEE at Electus International.
