Film.UA Group announced that it has sold original format Wife on the Drive to Latvia and Estonia. MTG Baltics has bought the first season of the show, with the company having rights for LNT, TV3, TV6, and KNL2 in Latvia and TV3, 3+ and TV6 in Estonia.

The first international version of the show will debut on October 23 on U TV Russia, in the 20.00 slot.

The format sees men teaching their other half to drive. Each episode features two couples. The show was previously known as Teach Your Wife to Drive and was among the contestants in the first ever Pitch & Play Live competition, organized by CEETV and NATPE Budapest. The format was ranked fourth in the competition for best new format from the CEE region. One of the judges in the competition was Girts Licis, Head of CEE, Formats & Content Development, Modern Times Group.
