Following the huge success of the inaugural edition of the event in 2016, CEETV, the leading media platform for TV intelligence in CEE, and NATPE, the organizer of the most prominent TV market and conference in Central and Eastern Europe, announced the second edition of their format initiative PITCH & PLAY LIVE for NATPE Budapest 2017. The global TV market and conference will take place between June 19-22 in the Hungarian capital Budapest.

NATPE and CEETV are proud to announce the members of the selection committee which includes: Samantha Ferguson, Format Sales Executive at Banijay Zodiak; Jonathan Tuovinen, Head of International for Rabbit Films; Elwin de Groot, Senior Creative Director in Armoza Formats’ Development Department; Georgi R. Chakarov, CEO at CEETV, TVBIZZ Group and Dann Novak, Programming Producer, NATPE. The jury that will select the winner among the three finalists will be announced soon.

The deadline for submissions has now been extended until May 20.

Submissions must include a one-page description of the format in English, a short trailer with English subtitles and at least one episode with English subtitles.

Participation is free. The selected formats will receive one free registration for NATPE Budapest, June 19-22. In addition to media coverage by CEETV, TVBIZZ and NATPE, the winning format will be awarded a development meeting. The winning format will also receive two registrations and two hotel accommodations for NATPE Miami 2018.
