The 23rd edition of the MediaMixx Festival (Thessaloniki, June 1-3) was closed with the awards ceremony of the Golden Umbrella Awards. Series from six different countries got the accolades as follows:

Best Crime – Hostages, Israel
Best Telenovela – Surviving Escobar, Colombia
Best Comedy – Love for Rent, Turkey
Best Drama – Ekaterina, Russia
Best Web Series – Ne Taka, Brat, Bulgaria
Best Writing – Daddy Cool, Greece
Best Casting – Eternal, Turkey
Best Director – Ekaterina, Russia
Best Sound & Music – Grand Family, Turkey
Best Camera – Ekaterina, Russia
City of Thessaloniki Award – Stolen Life, Bulgaria
