Yesterday, Eccho Rights released a statement to the media announcing that Ay Yapim’s Heart of the City will be the first ever Turkish drama to air on a national FTA channel (RTM) in Malaysia. After publishing the news, CEETV’s team was contacted by Calinos Entertainment with a note that the first Turkish drama to air on the FTA market in the Asian country was Pride and Love, following a deal between Calinos and TV Alhijrah back in 2012.

Subsequently, Eccho Rights corrected their release, noting that Heart of the City will be the first Turkish drama for RTM.

Pride and Love stars Tuba Büyüküstün and Murat Yıldırım and tells the love story between Asi, a girl from the countryside, and Demir, a well-known businessman from Istanbul.
