Viasat World, a leading international media company, announced a landmark content agreement with ITV Studios Global Entertainment (ITVS GE), securing 250 hours of world-class period drama content which will have first run exclusivity in many markets for its brand-new flagship content brand Epic Drama. 

The deal – Viasat World's biggest to date with ITVS GE – will see the independent broadcaster's new drama-based channel and SVOD propositions become the new home to some of the greatest period drama series of all time. Epic Drama will premiere in key markets, internationally, from December 14, with coveted launch titles including; Harlots, Mr Selfridge and Poldark.

With ITVS GE already established as a key content distribution partner, supplying many of Viasat World's top rating shows across its factual channel portfolio, the deal builds on this successful relationship as the company launches its brand new lavish drama offering.
