At its annual Showcase event in Liverpool BBC Worldwide announced yesterday that the format license for You’re Back in the Room, a Tuesday’s Child title, has been sold to Poland and Portugal.

CEETV reported first back in November 2017 that the show is getting a Polish version on TVN, while TVBIZZ reported in December that SIC is adapting the format in Portugal. The local versions of the hypnotic gameshow will be available to Polish and Portuguese audiences from Spring 2018.
 
In Poland, the format is already in production by ATM Grupa under the local title Hipnoza. It will consist of eight episodes and be hosted by one of the most popular TVN Poland presenters, Filip Chajzer. The hypnotic twist will come from Artur Makieła, a hypnotist and a member of the British Association of Hypnotherapy.
 
Ten episodes of the Portugese version of the show will be produced by Shine Iberia for commercial broadcaster SIC. The local version called DivertidaMente will be hosted by João Manzarra, one of the most well-known presenters in Portugal, having been the host of entertainment series such as: So You Think You Can Dance, X Factor and Anything Goes. José Tejada who is part of Keith Barry’s team in UK, AUS and US will be the hypnotist.
  
The show premiered in UK in 2015 with a peak audience of 5.2 million viewers, ranking within the UK’s top ten highest rated Entertainment shows of 2015 and the highest rated new Entertainment launch of 2015. It has since been licensed to Australia, French Canada, France, Slovakia, Slovenia, USA, Colombia, Netherlands and New Zeland. The latest sale makes Poland and Portugal 10th and 11th territory where the format will have its local version.

Hipnoza will premiere in Poland on Saturday 3rd of March in the primetime slot, DivertidaMente will go to air in Portugal in Spring.
