FremantleMedia International inks exclusive content deal with NC+ #NATPEBudapest

FremantleMedia International (FMI) today announced an exclusive package deal with Polish broadcaster NC+ for a mix of spectacular dramas and thought provoking documentaries.

nc+ will pick up a selection of high-end series including the mysterious drama, The Miracle(8 x 60’)for their Canal+ channel. Created by the best-selling Italian author, Niccolò Ammaniti, the pulsating thriller centers on the remarkable discovery of a plastic statuette of a Madonna that sheds tears of blood. There’s no answer to the mystery, but the power of the enigma brings madness to everyone who meets it and it changes the direction of their lives forever.

Canal+ will also premiere the powerful family dramaButterfly (3 x 60’), starring the International Emmy Award-winning Anna Friel as Vicky, a mother whose young son Max makes the huge decision that he wants to live life as a girl; and the fascinating documentary Pope: The Most Powerful Man in History(6 x 60’)which goes deep inside the Vatican to reveal the true power held by Popes throughout the ages.

As part of the deal, Canal+ Film will debut the emotive drama Olivia Newton John: Hopelessly Devoted To You (2 x 60’), which charts the Aussie sweetheart’s brilliant career and astonishing personal life.
