Global Agency announced today that it has licensed the successful quiz format Joker to the Slovenian public broadcaster. CEETV reported the news first and it became the most read news of last week.

The show will see 25 weekly episodes on TVS1, launching on February 23 in the Saturday primetime slot.

The format has been a major success in France with more than 300 daily episodes on France 2 and is currently in its second season airing weekly episodes. Joker was created for the Turkish public broadcaster TRT which aired over 100 episodes. International sales with options and licenses include Portugal (RTP1, over 200 episodes in daily primetime), Poland, USA, Middle East, Ireland and Spain.
