The media holding All Media Baltics and technology developer Atende Software have signed an agreement to jointly launch and promote a new OTT platform for the Baltic countries - Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia.
The new service will offer premium sports content - international and local, entertainment, movies, news and more. To attract more viewers the company will bet mostly on its own original production. The content will be available on smartphones, tablets, android devices and smart TV sets. Atende Software will introduce its OTT-platform redGalaxy as well as all user and operator apps for web browsers, Android, iOS, Android TV, Samsung SmartTV and LG webOS devices. The company will also provide both billing and content protection systems to its customers. “Atende Software brings well recognized OTT solution and an impressive track record in successful implementation and project delivery to our markets,” said Jan Wykrytowicz, pay-TV CEO of All Media Baltics (pictured). “We are delighted to cooperate with Atende Software and are looking forward to providing our viewers with a new, world-class entertainment experience.” Przemysław Frasunek, multimedia director of Atende Software added: “We are very honored that AMB has chosen our solution at the end of a very competitive international tender process.
