Leading independent distributor All3Media International has signed its first deal with Pickbox NOW, it announced at MIPCOM, as more than 25 hours of premium drama head to the SVOD service.

SVOD platform Pickbox NOW, which launched in 2014 and covers Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro, has acquired the first six-part installment of Blood, a Company Pictures Production. Channel 5’s top rated drama series of 2018, psychological thriller Blood stars Adrian Dunbar (Line of Duty) and Carolina Main (Unforgotten). All3Media International will launch a brand-new second series at MIPCOM.

The deal features four titles from leading scripted label Two Brothers Pictures, including Back to Life, the latest comedy from the Fleabagproducers. Created for BBC Three and recently picked up by Showtime in the US, Back to Life is a six-part black comedy starring Daisy Haggard (Episodes, Uncle), who also wrote the series alongside Perrier winner Laura Solon, and Geraldine James (Sherlock Holmes).

Pickbox NOW has also secured a selection of primetime drama thrillers: Baptiste, Strangers (aka White Dragon) and Cheat. The ratings-winning Baptiste (6 x 60’, for BBC One) stars Tchéky Karyo (The Missing) as the insightful but stubborn investigator Julien Baptiste, alongside Tom Hollander (The Night Manager) and Jessica Raine (Informer). Eight-part Hong Kong-set drama Strangers (aka White Dragon), produced for ITV, stars John Simm (Collateral), Emilia Fox (Silent Witness), Anthony Wong (Infernal Affairs) and Dervla Kirwan (The Stranger), and the critically acclaimed Cheat (4 x 60’, produced for ITV) stars Katherine Kelly (Happy Valley), Molly Windsor (Three Girls), Tom Goodman-Hill (Humans), Peter Firth (Spooks) and Adrian Edmondson (Bancroft).

All titles were produced in association with All3Media International.
