Viasat World announced that its premium period drama channel, Epic Drama, has launched with Bulsatcom in Bulgaria. Epic Drama joins the rest of Viasat World’s portfolio – TV1000, Viasat History, Viasat Nature and Viasat Explore – on the platform, taking channel position 433 for both DTH HD and IPTV and 76 for DTH SD. The channel is included in Bulsatcom’s brand-new premium package, Premium +, for BGN 19.99 per month or as an add on in the DRAMA package for BGN 2.00 per month.

Bulsatcom is the largest TV service provider in Bulgaria and has been a commercial partner of Viasat World since 2004. The addition of the Epic Drama linear channel to its line-up comes as a three-year deal extension for the rest of the channels in Viasat World’s portfolio was also agreed. Bulsatcom plans to roll out the Epic Drama SVOD offering to its subscribers in the coming months at a date to be confirmed. Addressing changing consumption habits, particularly in the face of the coronavirus pandemic - audiences will be able to watch on the screen of their choice, at a time of their liking, with many of Epic Drama’s top series available on VOD for catch up or binge watching.
