“We are convinced that this is only the beginning of our cooperation with European telecoms, whose activity in direct acquisition of audiovisual content has been growing dynamically in recent years,” commented Aleksandra Kaźmieruk, Head of International Sales Department of TVP.

Another set of 14 feature films of renowned Polish creators was also purchased by the Lithuanian public television LRT. Thanks to the efforts of TVP’s Sales and International Cooperation Office, viewers in Lithuania will get to know the classics of Polish cinema, including the films "Birch Wood" („Brzezina”), "Sir Thaddeus, or the Last Lithuanian Foray" („Pan Tadeusz, czyli ostatni zajazd na Litwie”) and "Katyn" by Polish master Andrzej Wajda, "The Big Animal” („Duże zwierzę") by Jerzy Stuhr or "Saviour’s Square” („Plac Zbawiciela") by Joanna Kos-Krauze and Krzysztof Krauze.
