Cineflix Rights sells more than 450 hours of content to CEE networks
Cineflix Rights has sold more than 400 hours of factual content to broadcasters in the CEE region ahead of NATPE Budapest International’s virtual market.
AMC Networks International Central and Northern Europe (AMCNI CNE) has signed a deal which sees the broadcaster acquiring a raft of property shows fronted by global stars Drew and Jonathan Scott for their Spektrum Home channels across Hungary, Czech Republic, and Slovakia. They include Property Brothers (Seasons 1 & 2, 39x60’, Cineflix Productions for HGTV US and Canada), Brother vs Brother (Seasons 1-6, 34x60’, Scott Brothers Entertainment for HGTV US), Property Brothers: Buying + Selling (Seasons 2, 4, 5 & 6, 65x60’, Cineflix Productions for HGTV US and Canada), Property Brothers Double Down (8x60’, Cineflix Productions for HGTV US and Canada), and Property Brothers at Home: Drew’s Honeymoon House (5x60’, Scott Brothers Entertainment for HGTV US). AMCNI CNE has also bought Ainsley’s Mediterranean Cookbook (10x60’, Rock Oyster Media for ITV UK) and Beautiful Baking With Juliet Sear (10x60’, Rock Oyster Media for ITV UK) for its TV Paprika channels across Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, and Moldova; along with Rise of the Machines (Season 3, 10x60’, Windfall Films for A+E Networks/H2 US, Science Channel US, Discovery Canada, International, and Europe) and Strip the Cosmos (Season 4, 6x60’, Windfall Films for Science Channel US, Discovery Europe, N24 Germany) for its Spektrum channels in Hungary, Slovakia, and Czech Republic. Czech TV has also acquired Rise of the Machines (Season 3, 10x60’, Windfall Films for A+E Networks/H2 US, Science Channel US, Discovery Canada, International, and Europe) as well as Mayday: Air Disaster (Seasons 20 & 21, 20x60’, Cineflix Productions for Smithsonian Channel US and National Geographic Channels International). Among other broadcaster deals, CBS Poland has bought Border Security: America’s Frontline (Season 3, 20x30’, Entertainment One for Corus Canada) for its CBS Action channel. Lucy Rawson, VP, Sales, Africa, CEE, Middle East, and Southern Mediterranean, Cineflix Rights who brokered the deals said: “CEE is a key market for Cineflix Rights, and the last few months have been particularly fruitful with broadcasters looking for feel-good, lifestyle content.
