Telekom Serbia announced in a statement that there are continuous attacks against the company and that "the most brutal campaign with the goal of strengthening one foreign company". Telekom said that the company is in direct competition.

"All attempts to collapse Telekom Serbia will fail, because the company will implement its development strategy even more decisively," it was stated in the announcement. It was pointed out that the goal of Telekom is to become "a regional leader in providing all services and an engine of economic development in the region."

Telekom Serbia is most probably referring to United Group, whose interests in Serbia include Serbia Broadband (SBB) and the news channel N1.
