Czech series about cyberbullying nominated for International Emmy
The internet thriller martyisdead from the production of the internet television Mall.tv received a nomination for the international Emmy Award. The miniseries about cyberbullying is historically the first Czech series to fight for this prestigious television award, said Eva Albrechtová from the Internet Television Communication Department. It competes in the category of short series, in which production from Argentina, Singapore and Australia will take part. The winners of all eleven categories will be announced on November 23 during the announcement of the 48th International Emmy Awards in New York.
“We are very happy. It is a selection from a thousand world series, so the nomination is very prestigious. We are glad that after the success in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, the series is also doing abroad. It’s great that even Czech genre production can succeed in the world,“ said producers Vratislav Šlajer and Jakub Košťál. RELATED
