Chrysalis, the latest Turkish drama in the catalog of Eccho Rights, had a stellar premiere on Kanal D last night.

The new series topped the key AB demo with 7.43 rating and 16.43% share, beating TRT1’s new hit Once Upon a Time in Cyprus. ATV Turkey’s Bitter Lands and Fox Turkey’s A Miracle which until recently were the indisputable leaders on Thursday nights ranked third (6.04/13.61%) and fourth (5.82/12.98%), respectively.

Chrysalis ranked third in 20+ABC1 last night with 6.95/14.44% share. ATV was first with 8.06/16.95%, followed by TRT1 with 7.55/15.18% share, while Fox was again outside the Top 3 with 5.53/11.55% share.

Chrysalis did not enter the Top 3 only among Total Viewers (5.23/11.16% share). ATV led with 9.79/21.46% share. TRT1 and Fox had 6.35/13.17% share and 5.69/12.46% share.

For comparison, last Thursday Kanal D aired a movie in primetime which had 6.75% share in AB, 6.07% share in Total and 5.86% share in 20+ABC1.

Kanal D’s PT (18.00-24.00) shares in March were as follows: 7.47% in Total, 7.11% in AB and 7.29% in 20+ABC1.
