According to Reuters Institute’s latest report on media trends, RTL Klub is not only a traditional news source with the highest reach in Hungary, but one of the most trustworthy ones as well.

This year’s Reuters Institute Digital News Report provides evidence that globally, the public still strongly supports the ideals of impartial and objective news. There is a constant amount of demand for impartial news, whereas the concern about misinformation remains high. It is especially noteworthy that Hungary remains the country with one of the lowest levels of overall trust in news with 30 percent. Amid the coronavirus pandemic and corresponding to global trends, news consumption and the demand for impartial news increased in the first half of 2020 in Hungary. According to the Digital News Report’s survey, RTL Klub plays a significant role in impartial and objective news distribution in Hungary, since it is the second-most reliable source of information after HVG, as well as the one with the highest reach among traditional media sources.
