Dramax attracts interest in Spain, Latin America, MENA
SVOD platform Dramax which was launched in April by Demirören Media Group has been welcomed warmly by Spanish speaking audiences with special interest from Argentina and Spain in addition to Arabic-speaking countries, the company informs.
All-time favorite dramas like Fatmagul, Mercy, Gümüş, Kuzey Güney and Forbidden Love are once again “the most viewed productions” of the platform. Dramax currently offers Spanish and Arabic dubbed content and soon English, Russian and Urdu dubbed and subtitled contents will be available. “Dramax is entirely a Demirören Media product and Kanal D is one of the content providers in it.” said Murat Saygı, the Executive Committee Member at Dramax. “This is a ‘competition-free’ content export platform. Therefore, we have invited all networks, series & movie producers and original content owners to be shareholders in Dramax. The negotiations continue successfully and we have already begun licensing third party content. We will announce our new titles very soon,” Saygı said. He continued: “It is not just television shows; but also theatrical and TV movies, children content, lifestyle programs and documentaries will be benefiting from this system. The only requirement for right holders is to certify their ownership of the content internationally and provide rights especially for Spanish and Arabic language.” RELATED
