Hypewriter, the international pitch forum for original TV series ideas has extended its submission deadline until August 31. Organizers Paprika Studios and RTL Hungary have received almost 200 ideas from 20 countries until the original July 15 deadline, but have decided to give the chance to those late to the party and will hold the pitch forum in Budapest during the Fall.

The stakes are high: the winner will receive a 10.000 EUR cash prize and their story will be turned into a professionally produced pilot episode, in collaboration, and with the contribution of Paprika Studios and RTL Hungary. Finalists will be invited for the live pitch event in Budapest, with travel and accommodation costs covered by Hypewriter. The organizers are also providing a coaching session for creators, before the event on stage.

The 8 finalists will pitch their stories to an international jury of prominent representatives of culture, film theory and filmmaking. An audience of international professionals will also be present at this annual event.

Story presentations will be in English, but for the first time, writers will have the chance to submit their written concepts in six languages from the CEE region: Czech, Hungarian, Polish, Romanian, Slovak, Slovenian and also in English.
