COSMOTE announces exclusive deal with BBC Studios
COSMOTE TV announced an exclusive collaboration with one of the world’s leading content producers and distributors BBC Studios for the next three years. Under the agreement, COSMOTE TV subscribers will enjoy every year more than 45 hours of new long-awaited series, while they will have at their disposal over 400 hours of content, annually.
“Through our agreement with BBC Studios we enrich our portfolio with high level content that is very popular in Greece,” said the Executive Director of COSMOTE TV, Dimitris Michalakis. “The COSMOTE TV team knows quality content and understands the needs of its audience. That is why we are excited to expand our cooperation and offer the Greek public worldwide content from BBC Studios and our partners. We are sure that COSMOTE TV subscribers will enjoy it,” said Salim Mukaddam, Senior Vice President Content Sales EMEA at BBC Studios. The 2022 premieres include the drama series This is Going to Hurt, as well as police series The Chelsea Detective. Viewers will also enjoy Cheaters, The Canterville Ghost and the second cycle of black comedy Guilt. There will also be new seasons of We Hunt Together, Unforgotten, The Split, Call the Midwife and Sanditon. RELATED
