1+1 Media launched a Russian-language YouTube channel "Tell the Russians the truth", which is designed to convey to the Russians the truth about the war waged by Russia in Ukraine, the company announced in a press release.

The channel's goal is to break the propaganda myths imposed on the Russian people by the Russian government. "Appeals in Russian from Ukrainian influencers Jamala, Yuri Gorbunov, Potap, NK, Alekseev, Masha Yefrosinina, Dmytro Gordon, Olya Polyakova, Alan Badoev, Anton Ptushkin, Sviatoslav Vakarchuk, Olena Kravets, Ivan D have already been published on the Russian channel. Russian artists Andrey Makarevich, Alexey Kortnev and Valery Meladze also expressed their position on stopping the Russian aggression,” the statement reads.

Earlier, the leading Ukrainian media groups, with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine, appealed to international television providers and asked to turn off broadcasting for Russian news channels on European satellites, cable networks, OTT platforms and other resources.
