TV Nova and CT team up for charity concert for Ukraine
On Tuesday, Czech pubcaster CT will air a charity Concert for Ukraine, which is to be broadcast live on ČT1 at 20.00. The Mirai, Mig 21, Chinaski and Pražský výběr bands, singers Marie Rottrová and Tomáš Klus and musicians from the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra will perform free of charge at the event, and more are gradually being added. The whole evening will be hosted by Světlana Witovská and Daniel Stach. The proceeds will go to the People in Need fund called SOS Ukraine.
TV Nova will also air the concert simultaneously, which is an extraordinary step. "We have decided to dedicate our broadcasting time to the special benefit concert to help people affected by the conflict in Ukraine," confirmed Silvia Majeská, program director of TV Nova. The goal is to increase the potential revenue of the collection and support this charitable project. Due to the broadcast of the concert, the airing of the reality show Survivor will be postponed, and Weekend Magazine will be completely dropped from the TV Nova program. RELATED
