Russian forces have seized the TV tower, TV and radio broadcasting building of Suspilne in Kherson and will disseminate information across this city, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine announced yesterday.

"Kherson and region: the enemy seized the TV tower and Suspilne and will disseminate news and information across Kherson. Of course, there will be great deal of fakes, disinformation, and propaganda. The government will never give up a piece of our land. Everything that will be said by terrorists is a lie," the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine posted on Facebook.

According to the Ministry, the occupiers do not allow to create a green corridor in order to further exacerbate humanitarian catastrophe in the city.

The team of Suspilne continues to work despite the seizing of their office, as announced by Viktoria Sidorenko from Suspilne. According to her, Suspilne Kherson continues to work remotely, the team works to promptly provide information about everything that is happening in the region on social networks and on Suspilne’s website.

According to the latest reports, the occupiers are planning to pronounce a Kherson Democratic Republic today. A special propaganda report on the occasion will be shot with people brought from Crimea celebrating the announcement.
