Polish TV Republika will not be airing ad spots of companies that have remained in Russia. “I appeal to other broadcasters for the same,” said Tomasz Sakiewicz, President of TV Republika.

“Our broker's advertising office was sent a request from TV Republika to implement the recall of Leroy Merlin, Auchan, Decathlon, Orfilame, Bonduelle, Nestle ads as soon as possible,” Tomasz Sakiewicz said on Twitter on Monday morning. Polsat Media is the advertising broker of Telewizja Republika.

Last Friday, architect and interior designer Krzysztof Miruć, known from HGTV programs, announced that he was suspending cooperation with Leroy Merlin, at the same time HGTV decided not to broadcast programs sponsored by this company in the near future. At the beginning of last week, the YouTube Sports Channel announced that it had terminated its advertising cooperation with Leroy Merlin, established in January this year.
