Eccho Rights has licensed the scripted reality format The Clinic to Antenna TV in Greece.

Created by Tuvalu Media for VRT in Belgium, The Clinic was a record-breaking ratings-winner for the Belgian pubcaster from 2013, and then achieved remarkable success as a remake in Spain. As Centro Medico, produced by Zebra Producciones, the medical drama ran for more than 1100 episodes on RTVE from 2015-2019.


“The Clinic is a wonderfully simple but successful format - each episode is based on real medical cases, as seen through the eyes of a cast of doctors and nurses. Though the episodes are scripted, the deeply researched source material and original cases make for highly realistic and relatable story-telling,” said Fredrik af Malmborg, Managing Director at Eccho Rights.

The Clinic is set to go into production this spring, with an initial order of 60 episodes to air later this year on ANT1 in Greece.
