The biggest ever Ukrainian presentation at #MIPTV
 04 Apr 2022
On April 4-6, at one of the world's biggest TV markets MIPTV 2022, Ukraine will have one of the grandest presentations yet.

Since the whole of Ukraine is united in fending off the Russian invasion, the key players in the Ukrainian media market – FILM.UA Group, Starlight Media, 1+1 Media, and Ukraine TV Channel have joined forces to represent the country at this prestigious event too!

The joint Ukrainian stand, aptly named StandWithUkraine aims to showcase the talent and professionalism of the Ukrainian media industry – able and willing to work even harder through the challenges of today. It also pinpoints key directions for future international cooperation.

The companies have prepared a stellar list of projects to present. For instance, FILM.UA Group is bringing out its big guns with films like Call Sign “Banderas” and U311, the series: Love in Chains and The Sniffer, as well as Future projects: Potion and Roxelana, and many others. And Starlight Media, 1+1 Media, and Ukraine TV Channel aren’t a step behind with theirs. To see all the projects, check out the official MIPTV Ukrainian Catalog.

The Media Resources Management’s team duly deserves credit for the catalog, as well as for coordination of other activities around the Ukrainian stand. And the organizers of the media market have already shared with us their excitement about the quality of the upcoming presentations: “This is shiver-inducing, and if it doesn’t get a huge round of applause, I’ll eat my hat!”

The aforementioned union of big Ukrainian media companies doesn’t end at MIPTV – it's an ongoing initiative to bring the whole media sector through the war-related hardships and onto its rightful standing in the international media markets.

The first-panel discussion on the Ukrainian stand featuring FILM.UA Group’s Victoria Yarmoshchuk is scheduled for the 4th of April. It will focus on how Ukrainian Media Companies, during the war, are standing together to defend the country and democratic values and human rights within.
