CME Media Services (CME) is pleased to name Dusan Svalek as the chief operating officer (COO) effective April 1. Mr. Svalek will implement CME’s transformation strategy which focuses on building a resilient business-to-consumer stream and collaborate closely with the digital team to ensure CME’s growth. Prior to joining CME, he served in senior positions such as chief country officer for Slovak Telekom and led marketing and consumer-facing activities for Deutsche Telekom companies in Czech Republic and Slovakia.

At CME, Mr. Svalek will be responsible for leading the growing operational agenda of the organization as well as co-designing and implementing initiatives which will forward CME’s transformation strategy. His experience with consumer consumption across multiple medias will undoubtedly provide invaluable insights. He will work with all CME colleagues on pre-existing projects as well as lead and manage new initiatives.

Over the course of his career, Mr. Svalek has shown exceptional strategic and leadership abilities, working in a broad range of management positions for major regional telecom companies including Slovak Telekom and T-Mobile Czech Republic.
