Crimean Tatars defend Ukraine on the information front. The head of the public organization "Crimean Family" Anife Kurtseitova said this in an interview with the site Crimean News".

According to Anifa Kurseitova, Turkish channels mostly tell the truth about the situation in Ukraine. Up to 70% of the time in newscasts is devoted to this topic. Most people in Turkey are already looking at the situation in Ukraine differently, said the head of the Crimean Family NGO. In particular, aid for Ukrainians is being collected on the streets.

"There were a lot of interviews, up to about fifty. The children were very tired of talking to journalists, but we did not refuse any TV channel. This is important,” said Anife Kurseitova. “Turkey shows true information, up to 70% of news is devoted to the war in Ukraine. Interviews influenced public opinion. There is a powerful Russian movement here. These are Russian Turkish women. They tell something else."

According to an online publication, the evacuation of Crimean Tatars after February 24 was organized by the Meclis of the Crimean Tatar people together with Turkish authorities. The Crimean Family took an active part in coordinating transportation and settling people in a new place.

The situation with protection and monitoring of human rights in the temporarily occupied Crimea has significantly deteriorated at the end of 2021.
