The court arrested the property of Google for 500 million rubles on the claim of Gazprom Media (GPM). The ruling of the court says "to take interim measures in the form of seizure of funds (including funds that will be credited to bank accounts), as well as all movable and immovable assets owned by Google LLC, for a total amount of 500.000.000 rubles." The reason for the legal proceedings was the claim of GPM, which demanded to invalidate the unilateral ban on the placement of the content of the TNT channel on YouTube, owned by Google. The plaintiff demanded to restore full access to the channel and also collect a court penalty.

Considering the string of blockings carried out by the video service since February 24, as well as the predicted outcome of legal proceedings against Google, a number of similar news reports can be expected. The TV channels of RTR, Perviy, NTV, TV Center, Moscow 24, REN TV, Spas, RT, RBC and Tsargrad were completely or partially blocked. On April 16, several branches of the Russia Television and Radio were blocked - the State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company of Novosibirsk, Ufa, Krasnodar, Kemerovo and Blagoveshchensk. Later they were joined by Irkutsk and Vainakh from Grozny.
