Verkhovna Rada to deny accreditation to pro-Russian media
 16 May 2022
Ukraine’s Verkhovna Rada plans to review the accreditations of journalists and exclude pro-Russian media from this list. This was announced by Verkhovna Rada Chairman Ruslan Stefanchuk in an interview with Ukrinform.

"We will need to do serious work on reviewing accreditations to identify media outlets that have either been sanctioned or promoted Russian narratives. We need to review the accreditation of these media outlets in the Verkhovna Rada," Ruslan Stefanchuk said.

The decision will be announced after studying the issue.

Last week, President Zelensky signed a decree on the ban of pro-Russian political parties.
