Armoza's Who's Asking? heads to Cyprus
 09 Jun 2022
Armoza Formats, part of ITV Studios, has today announced that studio gameshow Who’s Asking? has been commissioned in Cyprus. The 60 episodes season will be produced by Galinis Production Studio for CYBC, the public broadcaster in Cyprus.

Who's Asking, the game show that sees everyday people ask the questions, has reached 10 adaptations and over 1600 episodes worldwide having aired to audiences in territories including Greece, Thailand, Hungary and US Hispanic. An Arabic version recently aired in Israel while the 7th season is currently on air in Switzerland.

Created by Igal Shilon, Harel Josefson, Guy Wasserman and United Studios of Israel, Who’s Asking? (30-60') is the fresh gameshow that is not just about what questions the participants must answer, but who is asking them. Whether it’s the bus driver, your doctor, or a streetwise grandma – each has a question for the contestants. Instead of picking the type of questions to be asked, the 2 pairs of contestants must select an “asker” from the faces on the screen in front of them. In a game show where looks do matter, the contestants must follow their intuition to compete for the grand prize.

Nicos Galinis, CEO of Galinis Production Studios, commented: “We are looking, as a leading production company in Cyprus, to provide the viewer with a TV gameshow of outstanding levels in entertainment and production value. After thorough research, we concluded that Who’s Asking is the right project. We are convinced that Cypriots will very much enjoy participating in and watching this excellent TV gameshow.”

Amos Neumann, COO at Armoza Formats, added: “Who’s Asking offers a unique approach to game shows where truly everyone can take part. By combining the winning combination of thrill and knowledge that is most loved in game shows with the ability for people on the street to ask the questions, this format is an exciting and relatable experience for viewers everywhere and we look forward to seeing it in Cyprus.”
