Shooting is currently underway in Berlin for a new series commissioned by German pubcaster ZDF titled Himmel & Erde - Небо та Земля (Sky & Earth). The entire crew of the new production is Ukrainian.

The title of the series is a tribute to Ukraine’s flag which represents the blue sky and the corn fields of the country.

This will be an anthology series with five self-contained episodes, each addressing issues related to the war in Ukraine: the pain of leaving home, arriving in Germany and fear for those who stayed. But it's also about love that opposes war, about connecting humanity and moments of hope. The project should be seen as a "symbolic call for solidarity and a rejection of war".

The series will have its premiere on ZDF-Mediathek on October 6, while ZDFneo will air all episodes back-to-back on October 25 at 20.15. One of the episodes is focused on kids and will be also shown on kids net KiKa and ZDFtivi. Studio Zentral is producing.
