Los Angeles–based Get Me Out Productions announced a partnership with Bulgaria’s Film Fixers Balkans to open a joint office in Athens, and partner on projects focusing on unscripted production.

For Get Me Out, which was founded by Greek-American producers Akim Anastopoulo and Hali Anastopoulo, the partnership represents a European expansion, with a focus on Greece. In addition to producing joint projects in Europe, Get Me Out and Film Fixers Balkans will combine resources on development, pre- and post-production services, and distribution support, as well as location and logistics support, crew sourcing, and tax incentive partnerships.

“Since we first established Get Me Out Productions, we’ve had our sights on expanding globally and in particular to our family’s homeland of Greece,” Akim and Hali Anastopoulo said in a release. “We aim to drive more engagement and collaboration between the U.S. and Greek content industries, with a focus on unscripted television production and formats that can be shared between cultures and exported all over the world.
