The Media Group Ukraine slots in the United News telethon were distributed among the other participants of the joint nationwide news marathon without the need to find a broadcaster to fill in the broadcast time, Mykola Chernotytskyi, chairman of the board of pubcaster Suspilne, told Detector Media.

"The slots of media groups in the marathon United News UArazom were redistributed evenly between the teams. Roughly, each media group had 20 six-hour broadcasts per month, but now they are 24," Chernotytskyi said.

The Media Group Ukraine channels withdrew from the process of producing the national news marathon on July 22.

In July, Pryamiy and Channel 5 appealed to the National Security and Defense Council, as well as to the National Council on Television and Radio Broadcasting, to allocate the slot of MGU to them.
