The Moldovan regulator National Agency for Regulation in Electronic Communications and Information Technology ANRCETI has issued a reminder about a DTT license tender it announced earlier this month .The service urges providers of public electronic communications networks to submit the necessary documents for registration in the competition for issuing licenses for the use of radio frequencies/channels in the 470-694 MHz frequency band for the purpose of providing multiplexes with regional coverage and electronic communications services accessible to the public in the digital terrestrial television system. The maximum deadline for submitting applications is until 23.09.2022, 16.00.

“We remind you that the documents related to the organization of the mentioned contest were approved by the Board of Directors of ANRCETI on August 9. The advertisement about the organization of the contest was published on August 12, 2022 (Official Gazette of the Republic of Moldova, no. 257-263, art.946). The approved documents are displayed on the official web page of ANRCETI.

To register for the competition, the potential candidates will send to the address of the ANRCETI headquarters the application for participation in the competition accompanied by the offer, made under the conditions established by the Specifications and the Competition Procedure.”

A total of 18 licenses will be awarded for the use of the DVB-T2 regional multiplex MUX R.
