Three of Turkey’s leading distributors have now unveiled their highlights for next week’s MIPCOM market.

MISTCO announced that will present two brand-new Turkish series: Secrets of An Angel and Bahar, coproduced by MISTCO & US Yapim.

Secrets of An Angel is a new premiere on TRT1 and was produced by Gold Film which is one of the key producers behind many internationally popular titles (like Daydreamer, Mr.Wrong, Sisters, and many others).

Having been subjected to domestic violence by her husband for years, Cennet (Ayça Bingöl) gets sick and is hospitalized. While she is being treated, she sees a Lawyer Zeynep's number on the window of the hospital and calls her for help. She gives her a letter to be opened after she dies. This letter brings Zeynep (İrem Helvacıoğlu) and Halil (Alp Navruz) the eldest son of Cennet, together but also will cause conflict between the siblings. Then, even though Halil and Zeynep get together for Cennet, a romance begins between them.

The co-production with Us Yapim (creator of Hold My Hand, Melek, The Blackboard, and Between Us), Bahar is the story of a young girl who is struggling to keep the goodness inside despite all darkness around. After witnessing the murder of her father, she is trying to prove that Aysun (her stepmother) committed the murder. On the other hand, the love between Bahar and Demir who met just days before the murder grows day by day but becomes even more impossible since Aysun is obsessively attached to Demir and determined to win Demir at any cost. Their lives are turned upside down, and Bahar and Demir begin to be tested with both love and life.

Returning physically to its Pavilion C16.C in the market for the first time after 3 years, Inter Medya is coming to MIPCOM with a lineup full of hits.

Poison Ivy will be presented for the first time at MIPCOM. Produced by TMC Film, co-produced by Alim Yapım and broadcast on StarTV, Poison Ivy (Gecenin Ucunda) features a star-studded cast including Neslihan Atagül Doğulu, Kadir Doğulu, Sarp Levendoğlu and Zuhal Olcay. Adapted from Peride Celal’s best-selling novel of the same name, Poison Ivy is about Macide’s journey into a world she has never seen before, tested with love on her way to find herself.

BKM's successful drama Another Chance (Gelsin Hayat Bildiği Gibi), which Inter Medya added to its catalogues, is also one of the successful productions that Inter Medya is taking to MIPCOM. Started with its broadcast on ShowTV in July, Another Chance has received great success and increasing rating results since its first episode. Another Chance, which has a great fan base in Turkey, distinguishes itself with its talented cast and ripping yarn. Another Chance is a great blend of family, love, youth and action.

Inter Medya, which has filled its catalog with strong titles this year, like every year, is also bringing successful productions such as The Trusted, Scorpion, Aziz, Last Summer, Respect 2, Deep to the global market held in Cannes, France.

Having a successful TV series and New Generation Turkish Series catalogues, Inter Medya also impresses with its feature films catalog. The noteworthy feature film Regardless (Her Şeye Rağmen) which will be released in theatres in February 2023, will be presented to business partners during MIPCOM. Regardless is one of the outstanding feature films brought to MIPCOM by Inter Medya.

Inter Medya executives also stated that they will announce new hit titles during MIPCOM next week.

Global Agency also released a list of new series which will be presented at MIPCOM, including One Love, The Usual Suspects, Death Becomes Them, The Private School, Lonely Hearts and The Beauty Inside.
