Polish Senate's servers attacked by hackers
 28 Oct 2022
The Marshal of the Polish Senate Tomasz Grodzki reported a powerful cyberattack on the servers of the Polish Parliament's upper house.

"In the last 40 minutes, our servers sustained a powerful hacker attack," Grodzki announced during the Senate meeting before noon. I don't know if this is related to our yesterday's decision to declare the Russian Federation's government a terrorist regime, or if it is just a coincidence," he told RMF24.

The Marshal added that IT specialists were working on fixing the problems.

"The website is now back up. But documents are being printed to be delivered to you (senators), and will be sent to the remote senators over the Internet. I am also being told that it will take another 10 minutes, but the situation is already on its way to improvement, so to speak," Grodzki stressed.

On October 26, the Senate of Poland unanimously, by 85 votes, adopted a resolution declaring the Russian government a terrorist regime.
