A new TV channel has arrived in Romania - BBC First, BBC Studios' TV channel which broadcasts premium British series.

BBC First was added to the DIGI network on November23. BBC First will join the BBC Earth channel, already available on the DIGI platform, and will be available to all subscribers as part of the basic package, announce the representatives of the television station. All series will be available in English with Romanian subtitles.

Shows on the channel include Time, The Pursuit of Love, Ragdoll, and This is Going to Hurt. Forthcoming content includes crime drama Chelsea Detective, the 24th season of Silent Witness, prison drama Time, and Beyond Paradise, a spin-off of light crime series Death in Paradise.
