In March, the children's channel Cartoonito will replace Boomerang in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Cartoonito already broadcasts on Boomerang as an embedded program window. It is a station aimed at children of preschool age (3-6 years).

"Boomerang will change its name to Cartoonito in March. This is a rebranding of the channel," HBO Max EMEA spokeswoman Pavla Brožková confirmed to MediaGuru.cz. Cartoonito has already been broadcasting as a multi-hour embedded program window on Boomerang since September last year. This niche block is also marked with a special logo in the lower right part of the screen.

From March this year, WarnerMedia will operate two children's channels with a similar name on the Czech market - Cartoon Network and Cartoonito.
