Ukrainian sound director and soldier Ivan Shulha was killed in action, reports Starlight Media.

"Talented, competent, kind. A great patriot of his country and a defender of its future. Ivan has been on our team since 2015. With the start of the full-scale invasion, he left the filming set to defend our country on the battlefield," the company said.

They recalled the words that Ivan Shulha had written on Facebook: "The wise cannot be fooled, the honest cannot be bought, the brave cannot be broken."

"Today these powerful words remind us once again that he was a great man and that we must continue this fight every day, each in their own place. Until the last enemy leaves our land, until every criminal is punished," added Starlight Media.

The TV channel Pryamiy, where Ivan Shulha worked as a live broadcast sound director, also reported the death of their colleague.

"We will remember the hero as a friendly, creative and reliable person. Ivan's passion for music led him to his profession. Ivan also loved traveling. Pryamiy expresses our condolences to the family of the deceased. We will not forget and will not forgive!" - said the TV channel's post.

Ivan was 34. He had a son aged 9.

According to IMI, Ivan Shulha is the 63rd media worker who died in Ukraine as a result of Russia's armed aggression.
