Talpa Studios’ Million Dollar Island will premiere this weekend in Romania and it has already in another CEE market, as Bulgarian bTV confirmed today that it has acquired the format.

In Bulgaria, the show will be aired under the name The Island of 100 Bracelets and will offer the participants an impressive prize fund in the amount of BGN 300.000. Preparations for the reality show are already underway, and casting for participation in it begins on March 13 in the online registration form at btv.bg/ostrov.

The new adventure show has unprecedented rules. In it, 30 unknown participants go to a place where, far from everything usual, they create their own community laws. A place where they can go home with a lot of real money and the power is on their wrist. The huge stakes, the competition and the wild nature will reveal the traits of each participant. It is up to them to stay authentic and win the battles even when luck is not on their side to make it to the finals and take home the grand prize.

In the game, participants will test their ability to survive on an isolated tropical island in the middle of the ocean, far from the comforts and conveniences of civilization, but close to a truly great treasure - the bracelet. Not only power and money are concentrated in it, but also the great goal. The three players with the most bracelets on their wrists will reach the final, where they will fight for their share of the 300.000 lev prize. All participants who set foot on the island receive an equal number of bracelets, which will correspond to a certain value. While on the island, adventurers can earn and lose bracelets by competing in various challenges or receiving bracelets from other participants. That is why the well-being of each player in the new society created in the show will depend on the people with whom they surround themselves, and friendships - emotional and strategic - will be worth a real fortune! Those who are able to show courage, adaptability and build a good strategy and of course those whom fate loves, will walk the path of wealth, collecting more and more bracelets from their friends and rivals. And the others who are left without bracelets are in danger of losing their place in the game.

The adventure reality show will offer viewers strong emotions with the stories of a new society, whose members will not only fight against the natural conditions on the island, full of mysteries, surprises and difficulties, but they will also create strategies, friendships and coalitions with the sole aim of winning a share of the grand prize of BGN 300.000.
