The call for submission of documentary films for the 25th Mediterranean Film Festival, which is taking place from 8 to 12 October 2024 in Široki Brijeg, is open. The authors of documentary films from the Mediterranean countries that submit their applications until 31 July 2024 can participate in the call for competition program. All the details regarding the conditions for applying, as well as the Application Form, can be found on the official web site of the Festival.

Mediterranean Film Festival divides the films in the competition program in two categories – selection of short documentary films lasting up to 30 minutes, and selection of feature length documentary films lasting more than 30 minutes. The festival selector shall see all the films sent until July 31, 2024, at the latest, and whose applications meet all the necessary conditions.

Six members of the international jury that is going to evaluate the films from both selections during the 25th MFF shall decide on the best documentaries, and award the MFF Projector in feature length and short competition. The award for the best cinematography achievement will be awarded by the Association of Cinematographers in Bosnia and Herzegovina and traditionally the Festival audience shall award one of the prizes with their votes for their favorite film.
