Telekom Serbia CEO Vladimir Lučić announced in Trieste that the company signed a contract with the Italian insurance financial institution SACE worth 200 million euros.

He said at the Italy-Serbia Business Forum "Green transition: new opportunities for bilateral cooperation" that he is extremely proud of the signed document, because Telekom will be provided with much more favorable financing with this guarantee.

Lučić emphasized that SACE is the largest Italian financial institution for insurance and that it is directly under the control of the country's ministries of economy.

"This guarantee also includes television content, and Telekom is the proud holder of the rights for the Italian league that you can see on Arena Sport. With this guarantee, in a joint partnership with SACE and Bank of America, Telekom Serbia will receive an additional 200 million euros for further investments." said Lucic.

According to him, the fact that the Italian insurance company SACE joined the group of European, public and strongest financial institutions that support the development of Telekom, only shows how good, rational and real business plan Telekom Srbija has and how successful the company will be in the future.

"Telekom Srbija actually has the trust of the largest financial institutions from Western Europe and America," Lučić concluded.

The business forum of Serbian and Italian businessmen, the second in a year, was organized in Trieste and has gathered more than 200 companies, and high political officials are also participating in it, which is very significant because many projects are part of a large governmental state plan and are financed from public sources, such as those on infrastructure, green transition, sustainability.

The focus of the business forum of Serbian and Italian businessmen is the green transition, information and communication technologies, artificial intelligence and biotechnology, in addition to traditional sectors of cooperation.
