Leading independent distributor All3Media International has announced a commission in Greece of Filmpool Entertainment’s constructed reality format The Criminal Court, the distributor announced today at NATPE Budapest.

Produced by Silverline Media Productions, the new adaptation of the hit constructed reality format will air on Antenna Group this year.

In The Criminal Court, a real judge with a charismatic personality presides over one fictional criminal court case that is thrilling, emotional and sometimes bizarre. Stories are told through amateur actors, but real lawyers give the stories an authentic feel. Stakes are high as crucial evidence is presented to the court and the story flows between the courtroom and other stories in the courthouse.

Created by Filmpool and originally launching on Germany’s commercial broadcaster RTL, The Criminal Court became instant ratings hit with Season 1 outperforming the slot average by 68%. Over 200 episodes have aired in Germany to date.
