Banijay Entertainment today announced that SAS: Who Dares Wins, originally created by Minnow Films for Channel 4, has been commissioned for a first season in Poland. Known locally as Siły Specjalne Polska, this version for Polsat, produced by Endemol Shine Poland, marks the tenth version of the format.

As it has been a tradition in the past 15 years, back in June CEETV was once again the first international media to report about the adaptation of the format months ahead of the official announcement and other media reports.

SAS: Who Dares Wins sees participants undertake a unique version of the special forces selection process to discover if they have what is required. The Polish version will follow the journey of 18 recruits, under the leadership of four former members of elite units, Wojciech “Zachar” Zacharków (former officer, AGAT Military Unit), Marek “Włóczykij” Stan (former operator, GROM Military Unit), Piotr “Gniady” Hajkowski (former operator, Formoza Military Unit) and Piotr “Soyers” Soyka (former operator, Commandos Military Unit). The recruits face tasks based on real special forces training and will confront their deepest fears, demonstrate extraordinary physical fitness, reach the limits of the human psyche, and surpass their endurance threshold.
