Edin Forto, Minister of Communications and Transport of Bosnia and Herzegovina, signed the Contract Addendum on the equipment procurement for the implementation of the Digitalization Project of the Public Broadcasting Services in BiH with the representatives of the companies Odašiljaći i veze d.o.o. Zagreb and Nimbus Innovations d.o.o. Banja Luka which has taken over all the rights, property and liabilities from Sirius 2010 which was included on the sanction list by the Office for Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).

Contract Addendum in which all rights and liabilities for the Contract implementation are assumed by the company Odašiljači i veze, was drafted based on the opinion and the approval of the Office of the Attorney General of Bosnia and Herzegovina, following the submission of evidence on compliance with terms of Contract. In accordance with the Contract Addendum, Odašiljači i veze shall provide a new bank guarantee for the Project implementation within the following 15 days.

Minister Forto expressed his satisfaction that, despise the developments, a solution was found allowing the continuation of the RTV Signal Digitalisation Project, given that Bosnia and Herzegovina remains the last country in Europe that has not yet digitalized итс RTV signal, while at the same time it is not breaching the sanctions imposed by the US Administration.
