Polish pubcaster TVP has announced the fifth edition of the leading event organized in Warsaw dedicated to the TV market in Central and Eastern Europe - The Heart of Europe TV Festival & Forum. This year it will take place between October 21 and 24.

The Heart of Europe International TV Festival & Forum is an initiative of Polish Television which brings together public broadcasters from Central and Eastern Europe, offering a wide-ranging showcase of recent TV content from the region. The festival presents the best feature films, feature series, documentaries as well as entertainment, children and youth programs and digital project produced by the public TV organizations from Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Croatia, Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria, Ukraine and Georgia.

As in previous years, the festival will be accompanied by a number of side events: Q&As with creators, panel discussions, special screenings and pitching sessions. The program also includes the Heart of Europe Forum which welcomes submissions of feature film, series and documentary projects at various stages of development. Among the participating guests of the forum are creators, producers and sales and acquisitions professionals who are on the lookout for co-production and commercial opportunities within the CEE market.
